Our Vision
The Isle of Man has always produced world-class athletes yet most who go on to compete at elite levels come from individual sports.
Opportunities for sports teams, and the individuals within them, to move from amateur to professional have been harder to obtain.
This is where Sporting Club Isle of Man comes in.
Put simply, our vision is this:
Create and develop a stable of sports teams based on the Isle of Man that will provide wide-ranging benefits to the Island’s community including (in time) access to, and a route into, professional sport.
Become a member and play a role in YOUR club’s success
For a small annual membership you will become a member of Sporting Club Isle of Man.
This means you’re actively playing your part in enabling our Island community to achieve its sporting potential.
If you decide to become an official supporter of one our teams you will have an opportunity to have a say on the running of that team.
How do I become an Official Supporter of a Team?
When purchasing your membership, you can choose whether to become an official supporter of one of the teams Sporting Club IOM owns i.e. FC Isle of Man or CC Isle of Man.
For example, to become an official supporter of FC Isle of Man, purchase the 2021/22 Sporting Club Membership + FC Isle of Man Supporter item.
If you do choose to support a team, half of your membership fee will be allocated to the team you select, and you will become an official supporter of that team.
What are the Membership / Supporter tiers?
There are two Tiers of Memberships and Official Supporters with Sporting Club Isle of Man:
- Yn chied (“First” in Manx Gaelic)
- Feeagh (“Raven” in Manx Gaelic)
Membership/supporter tiers are reallocated each year with those registering early gaining 'Yn chied' status and those subsequently registering gaining 'Feeagh' status.

Yn chied
'Yn chied' status and associated perks will be available to the first 500 Sporting Club members that register each year AND the first 500 official supporters registered for each team Sporting Club owns.
An individual can ONLY hold 'Yn chied' status in one club/team. Therefore, based on Sporting Club's current structure, Fifteen Hundred (1500) individuals will have 'Yn chied' status i.e.
- 500 Yn chied Members at Sporting Club Isle of Man
- 500 Yn chied Official Supporters at FC Isle of Man
- 500 Yn chied Official Supporters at CC Isle of Man
Once they are gone they are gone for that membership year.
Feagh
All members / supporters who register after the ‘first 500’ (at each club/team) will be allocated Feeagh status.
How much does the membership cost?
Membership costs just £20 per year (+ VAT).
Who can become a member?
Anyone aged 16+ with a love of team sport or a connection to, or interest in, our Island can become members of Sporting Club Isle of Man.
Are there any other restrictions?
Multiple memberships can be purchased in one transaction. However, only ONE unique person can hold a membership. (YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE DETAILS OF EACH PROSPECTIVE MEMBER SO PLEASE HAVE THAT INFORMATION READY BEFORE YOU PROCEED, IN PARTICULAR THEIR NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS.)

Please note refunds will not be issued for terminated memberships.
